  • Account & Profile Data: Names, email addresses, usernames, and profile identifiers provided by Google, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Snapchat.
  • Authentication Credentials: Secure OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens necessary to perform authorized actions on your behalf. We never collect or store your raw passwords.
  • Content & Analytics Data: Video metadata (titles, tags, descriptions), channel metrics (subscriber counts, views, video counts), and posting history needed to operate automated publishing and analytics reporting.

3. Use of Your Information

We use your information strictly to facilitate account creation, fulfill user-configured automation rules, schedule and distribute video content to your connected destinations (YouTube, TikTok, Facebook Pages, Instagram, and Snapchat Spotlight), and provide real-time dashboard analytics.

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. We only share information with your explicit authorization, to deliver connected platform services, to comply with applicable laws, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

5. Platform-Specific API Compliance & Disclosures

A. YouTube API Services (Google)

Repostify utilizes YouTube API Services to manage and publish video content and to retrieve channel analytics. By connecting your YouTube account with Repostify, you acknowledge and agree that:

B. Snapchat API Services (Snap Kit & Spotlight)

Repostify connects with Snapchat via Snap Kit and official Snap APIs to allow creators to schedule and publish video content to their Snapchat Spotlight profiles and view performance analytics. By connecting your Snapchat account, you agree that:

  • You are bound by the Snap Terms of Service and Snap Developer Terms.
  • Your Snapchat data is handled in accordance with the Snap Privacy Policy.
  • Repostify does not collect biometric data, facial scans, or private chats. Access is strictly limited to authorized Spotlight video publishing and public profile identification.
  • Revoking Access: You can revoke Repostify's access at any time within the Snapchat mobile application under Settings > Connected Apps (Connected Accounts).

C. Meta Platforms (Facebook & Instagram)

Repostify utilizes Meta Graph APIs to manage video distribution (Facebook Reels & Pages) and retrieve public metrics. By connecting your Facebook or Instagram accounts, you agree that:

By connecting your TikTok account, you are bound by the TikTok Terms of Service and TikTok Privacy Policy. You can revoke access at any time through TikTok Settings > Security > Manage App Permissions.

6. Data Protection Mechanisms for Sensitive Data

We take the security of your sensitive data very seriously. All sensitive user data, including OAuth access tokens for Google, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Snapchat, are encrypted in transit using industry-standard Transport Layer Security (TLS/HTTPS). At rest, sensitive credentials and tokens are stored in secured, encrypted databases accessible only by authorized internal backend services. We implement strict access controls and regular security audits to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, or modification of your information.

7. Retention and Deletion of Third-Party Platform Data

We retain data from third-party platforms (Google, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Snapchat) only for as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy. If you choose to disconnect any connected social account or delete your Repostify account:

  • All associated OAuth tokens, profile information, and cached channel analytics will be permanently and irreversibly purged from our active databases within 30 days.
  • You can request immediate data deletion at any time by disconnecting the account from your creator dashboard or by sending a request to our data protection team.
